HOURGLASS PLAY READING SERIES began in 2010 as Rochester Fringe Play Reading Series with co-producers Sandi Henschel, Barbara Lobb, and Maria Scipione. The series is dedicated to presenting readings of thoughtful, well-crafted plays that might not otherwise be produced in the Rochester area.

HOURGLASS has been privileged to use the talents of many of our areaʼs most gifted actors and directors during its first seven highly successful seasons. This season is under the guidance of Artistic Director/Producer, Sandi Henschel, and Associate Producers Jodi Beckwith, Lynne Sánchez-Fries, and Jack Simel. Marc Cataldi keeps up our TheatreRocs page, Barbara Lobb continues to design our flyers and programs, and Sarah Sortino keeps our website, www.hourglassplays.org, up-to-date. This season we are pleased to welcome our new stage manager, Noah A. Morris.
